Laurie A. Elder, RLA, ASLA is a Registered Landscape Architect motivated to create great places to live, work and play. She possesses many years of broad experience in various types of design from trails and greenways, corporate campus, hospital campus, office, commercial, retail and neighborhood communities of various scales.
Ms. Elder is a graduate of the University of Georgia and began her career in the Atlanta area before relocating to Orlando. Her past experience includes a role as a Project Manager at HGOR where she worked in the Workplace Studio and designed the Colonial Town Park office campus in Lake Mary. Additionally, she served as the Manager of Planning at Bower-Singleton & Associates (now Dewberry) for many years before joining BDG as an Associate Landscape Architect.
Danny Rogers, RLA is an Associate Principal and Senior Landscape Architect for BDG, Mr. Rogers has over 20 years of experience developing landscape architectural packages of varying complexity, type and scale. He has worked with design teams aiding in the development of a wide variety of projects, including “life-style” centers, resort and themed entertainment projects, health-care environments, affordable housing communities, city parks, multi-family communities and single-family residences. Mr. Rogers experience includes the creation of conceptual design schemes and project visioning with free-hand sketches and illustrations. He provides project leadership and direction to office staff in conjunction with the delegation of project tasks, while maintaining and nurturing client relationships. Mr. Rogers received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University in 1999 and a Master of Civic Urbanism from Rollins College in 2014. Mr. Rogers is a Florida Registered Landscape Architect. His project experience includes both domestic and international work. Some of Mr. Rogers most notable experiences are projects that range in type and scale including Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort; urban sites in Curitiba and Sao Paulo, Brazil; themed masterplans in China; a mountain-top resort located in Danang, Vietnam and luxurious Caribbean destinations. Mr. Rogers is an AIA Orlando Chapter Allied Member and serves on the advisory board for the Back to Nature Wildlife Refuge.
Nick Bevis is an Associate / Landscape Designer in our Maitland, Florida studio. Nick is a graduate of the Mississippi State University.
His responsibilities include conceptual design, design development, preparation of construction documents, and graphics.
